A spacious and beautiful cottage, sleeping five, Meadow Cottage is suitable for wheelchair users and is situated in stunning surroundings on the north Cornish coast, in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Large rooms defy the exterior of this cottage: the light and stylish kitchen has ample units and work surfaces and is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and a combination washer dryer in the utility room.

The sitting room and diner, open plan to the kitchen, is furnished with a large comfy corner sofa (which converts to a sofa bed to sleep one adult), reclining chair, TV and DVD player, and an electric feature fireplace. The dining area has a table and chairs to accommodate up to six people. Patio doors open to the decking with outdoor furniture from which to sit and enjoy beautiful countryside views over lunch or evening drinks. A gas barbecue can be supplied on request.

The accommodation is all on one level, and the two bedrooms sleep four: bedroom one is furnished with a double bed (4'6") and wardrobe. The second bedroom has twin beds (3' each), one of which is a riser/recliner/massager. Both bedrooms offer ample storage and wall-mounted TVs.

A wet room is fitted with a walk-in shower, WC (with removable frame) and basin. The property is heated by night storage heaters which are fitted throughout the cottage. Outside, in addition to the patio there's a good sized garden with a picnic bench and concrete path for wheelchair users. The parking area is large enough to accommodate several cars.

Both Meadow Cottage and also Primrose Cottage (which can also be booked with Duchy Holidays, and sleeps two), are suitable for wheelchair users, all on one level with widened doorways, ramps from the parking area into the buildings, walk-in showers and handrails fitted in the bathrooms. The cottages can be booked individually or together (subject to availability) to accommodate larger groups or two families holidaying together.

Meadow Cottage is located just over one miles' walk along the footpath from the beautiful National Trust beach of Chapel Porth and the iconic remains of Wheal Coates engine house. The picturesque village of St Agnes is approximately half an hours' walk, or five minutes' drive. There are also two acres of fields with a dog track (two dogs are welcome at the property all year round, with prior arrangement). Dogs are charged at £35 per week, per pet. Please see our booking terms for details of our dog friendly terms and conditions.

Offering a peaceful and calm retreat from the busyness of everyday life, Meadow Cottage is the perfect place to escape the rat race, sit on the decking and breathe in the fresh air while enjoying beautiful views across the fields.
