Scaryland at Dairyland Farm World

Especially for October half term, Dairyland will transform into Scaryland, its usual seasonal extravaganza for Halloween, for the final time before closing its doors to the public. Make the most of this wonderful family attraction before it says goodbye. Visitors can look forward to seeing lots of animals; playing in the various play areas; pumpkin carving, and more fun activities! Halloween activities will take place during their final opening week, Monday 28th October – Sunday 3rd November.

Halloweden at The Eden Project

Visit The Eden Project this October half term to experience its annual event: Halloweden. Immerse yourself in all things spooky, including the monstrous world of minibeasts, showcased by the entertaining presenters from Zoolab. Adventure through the domes on a safari animal trail before concluding the day with a skate around the ice rink, which is back for winter. Halloweden will run from 26th October – 3rd November.

Dragon School at Trerice House

Step back in time with a visit to one of Newquay’s most magnificent manor houses, Trerice House, part of the National Trust. The stunning Elizabethan house and glorious gardens will be holding Halloween-themed activities throughout the half term week, including ‘Trerice Dragon School’, to learn how to train your dragon! Halloween fun will run from 26th – 31st October.

The Wickedly Witchy Afternoon Brew at The Headland Hotel

Expect tricks and treats at The Headland Hotel’s Wickedly Witchy Afternoon Tea, where you’ll be greeted by a real-life witch! Yes, that’s right, this ghoulish event is hosted by live actors! Those brave enough can feast on themed delights such as terrifying trifles and scary savoury sandwiches. Available from 19th October – 3rd November.

Fireworks Spectacular at Lappa Valley

Just a short drive from Perranporth, discover a world of miniature trains, only accessible by train! Kids and adults alike will love exploring the range of activities, from adventure golf to pedalos on the lake, not to mention the Engine Shed Indoor Soft Play and Cafe. One of the major highlights in the Lappa Valley calendar of events is their Fireworks Spectacular, held on Thursday 31st October and Friday 1st November.

Rogue Otherworld at Tehidy Woods

Get ready to experience an immersive show like no other at Rogue Otherworld’s ‘Dead of Night Dance’ show. Held at Tehidy Woods, a woodland Halloween celebration welcomes spirits of all ages. Expect theatre, laughter, music, thrills, frights and dancing in this unforgettable experience! Tickets are available for performances from 25th October – 3rd November.
