Trerice
Newquay, 19 minutes by car from Perranporth.

Built in 1576, Trerice is the grand Elizabethan family home of the Arundell family. With a varied garden featuring a small orchard of traditional Cornish apples, the decorate ‘Knot Garden’ with twisted pathways and beautifully planted borders. A colourful bloom of flowers, tulips and lush foliage and a ‘Kayling lawn’ with views of the sprawling Cornish countryside.

Chapel Porth & Wheal Coates
St Agnes, 15 minutes by car from Perranporth.

Dramatic mining ruins sit atop the cliffs overlooking this Cornish beach. A sheltered, shingle cove at high tide opening out to a wide expanse of sandy beach at low tide. With craggy coves, gorse-covered coast paths and the famous ‘Hedgehog Ice cream’, it’s a must visit!

St Agnes Beacon
St Agnes, 16 minutes by car from Perranporth.

Paths weave through the gorse and heather as you explore the cliff tops or St Agnes Beacon, where you’ll find spectacular views, valleys, streams and coastal Cornish birdlife.

Holywell Bay
Newquay, 15 minutes by car from Perranporth.

A beautiful North Cornish beach with golden sand, sweeping dunes and rocky headlands. It’s truly stunning, no wonder it was chosen as the location for BBC’s adaption of Poldark. Crantock Beach
Newquay, 18 minutes by car from Perranporth.

Trelissick
Feock, near Truro. 15 minutes by car from Perranporth.

With panoramic views across the Fal Estuary, take in the seascape and countryside. Pathways meander through the gardens, where you’ll find formal lawns, exotic plant life and herbaceous borders bursting with colour.
